QSI International School of Phuket

Hello! My name is Rita Donohue. I joined the staff at QSI International School of Phuket in 2010. I am very happy to be the 3&4 yr. old teacher. I have taught at many levels in my teaching career and by far this is my favorite age group. I feel very blessed to be working in this position. Phuket is such a beautiful island with very friendly people and incredibly good food. Prior to coming to Phuket my husband Jack, and I were elementary teachers in another QSI school in Almaty, Kazakhstan. Jack and I have worked together for most of our lives. We were Peace Corp Volunteers in Belize, Central America for 2 years. We then started and operated a pre-school day care center for 27 years where we raised our 4 children.

QSI Phuket International School is very unique. It is surrounded by jungle foliage with classrooms opening onto a covered walkway and a playground located in the center. Everyone here at school is friendly and supportive. We both feel very fortunate to be welcomed into this wonderful school community.
